Grooming Agreement

Schedule, Pricing, Payments

  • Payment is required at the time of service. We accept Credit and Cash, but do NOT carry change in the trailer. At this time, we do not accept any Latch-Key clients and require someone to be home that can give grooming instructions, properly handle to dog(s), and pay upon completion.

  • Appointments are an estimated arrival window. We do not guarantee specific appointment times, and we may arrive anytime within the given window. If we need to move your appointment to a time outside the given window, you will receive a notification.

  • Any pricing given over the phone, email, or new client application is an estimate. Pricing may vary depending on coat condition, temperament, or time the groom takes. Pricing quotes do NOT include state sales tax. Pricing is subject to change; we will give notice of price increases when necessary.

Cancellation Policy

  • 48 hour’s notice is required to cancel without a fee.

  • Less than 48 hour’s notice will result in a fee of $50 per pet. This charge will be invoiced to the client with a 4% invoicing fee.

  • All appointments will receive a confirmation text 24 and 48 hours before their appointment date.

  • All appointments must be confirmed before the appointment time or client will be subject to appointment being cancelled AND cancellation fees.

  • All same day cancellations are responsible for 50% of the appointment cost and clients will not be rebooked after 3 instances.

  • No call/ no show (no answer/ no access) appointments are responsible for 100% of their appointment cost and will not be booked after 2 instances.  

Parking

  • Please move vehicles prior to the arrival of our Truck and Trailer or have designated areas for us to park. When possible, we prefer to park in the street but require a flat service with enough clearance. We will not move our vehicle once we have begun a groom.

  • Please have the requested parking for us filled out on the New Client Form, and if there is an update, please let us know so we can make the changes on our end.

  • If there is no designated parking available and paid parking is utilized, this will be added to the final bill.

Walks/ Potty Breaks

  • We do not walk the dogs before/ after their groom. Please be sure your pet has gone to the bathroom at least 20-30 minutes before the groom.

Vaccinations, Health, Sanitation

  • By agreeing to our policies, you are agreeing to keep your pet’s vaccinations up to date per local and federal laws and can provide paperwork when requested. Bites must be reported, this is for the safety of our groomers and your pet.

  • Rabies vaccine must be up to date at the time of the groom, you will be required to show proof of vaccination at time of booking. We will keep it on file and request an update when it becomes out of date.

  • If the rabies vaccine is not up to date at the time of service, services will be REFUSED and 100% of appointment cost will be invoiced.

  • We sanitize thoroughly but cannot be liable for any infectious conditions such as kennel cough, canine influenza, parvo, etc.

  • Dogs with known infectious conditions will not be accepted, clients will be liable for damages and trailer down time if they are found to keep an appointment for a dog with an infectious condition.

  • If there is contamination, we will inform all parties that could be at risk immediately.

Fleas and Ticks

  • All pets must be current on flea and tick preventatives.

  • If a pet is found to have fleas during their grooming, a $75 charge will be added to their appointment and a flea bath will take place.

  • Clients will not be rebooked after 2 instances of the pet coming to a grooming appointment with fleas.

  • If a tick is found on the pet, we will note the location of the tick and advise the owner to seek a veterinarian to have it removed.

Temperament

  • By agreeing to our policies, you agree that to the best of your knowledge your pet does not have any behavioral issues such as biting, snapping, growling, scratching or any form of aggressive behavior towards a human.

  • Pet owners are responsible for any damage inflicted by their pet to either the salon, stylist, or equipment.

  • Injuries from a dog bite MUST be reported to Animal Control Services. Pet owners are financially responsible for any medical bills and treatments if the groomer is injured by their pet.

  • Southern Belle Mobile Grooming will always try their best to complete the groom safely. At any point when it becomes unsafe for the dog or stylist, we will discontinue the service and return the dog to the owner and full payment will be due.

Health Conditions

  • It is the pet owner’s responsibility to provide a healthy and groomable pet. Any known preexisting conditions MUST be disclosed prior to grooming. We do NOT groom pets with heart conditions.

  • We do NOT groom any pets with open wounds or sores. All surgeries and stitches will need to be cleared by their veterinarian before grooming.

  • Southern Belle Mobile Grooming LLC is not liable for clipper irritation, minor knicks/scratches or skin irritation from grooming. Southern Belle Mobile Grooming LLC is held harmless from damages, loss or claims arising from any known or unknown preexisting condition of my pet.

Matted Pets

  • Dogs with mats (tangles or knots in the hair) that need to be shaved or dematted will present rick of injury. We are not responsible for injury or irritation due to matting. We will not detangle severely matted dogs.

  • At the time of inspection of the pet and the stylist notices that the coat will need to be shaved, we will notify the owner immediately and let it be their decision on shaving the dog. If the Stylist decides that there is no saving the coat and shaving is the most humaine option for the pet and the owner does not want the dog shaved we will return the pet to the owner, the full appointment price will be invoiced and that client will not be rebooked.

  • At Southern Belle Mobile Grooming LLC, we are a “Humanity over Vanity” business. When it comes to what is best for the dog, we care more about their well-being than achieving a desired haircut.

Social Media

  • Photos and/or Videos may be taken of your pet before, during or after their grooming session for us on Southern Belle Mobile Grooming LLC’s social media pages and for other marketing purposes.

  • If you do not want your pet’s photos/videos used on social media, we require you let us know before the appointment.

Final Agreement

  • I agree that if I have any issues with my pet’s groom or condition to contact Southern Belle Mobile Grooming LLC within 24 hours of your pet’s service.

  • I authorize Southern Belle Mobile Grooming LLC to act as my agent in the case of emergency. If veterinary services, boarding services, or transportation services are required I agree to pay any and allots incurred.

  • I have read and understand my obligations as written in this agreement for the mobile grooming salon services offered by Southern Belle Mobile Grooming LLC.
